About Pensacola Energy
A Short History
Pensacola Energy supplies natural gas to Escambia County (except Pensacola Beach and Century). The system is served by two pipelines, Gulf South Pipeline and Florida Gas Transmission. Service from FGT is provided by Chesapeake Utilities through an interconnect pipeline. The two pipelines allow us to obtain energy at the lowest possible cost to serve retail and industrial customers in Escambia County.
