If you wish to upgrade appliances in your home to efficient, earth friendly natural gas, we’d like to lend a hand. Rebates are available for nearly every residential natural gas appliance. If you qualify for one of our rebates we will reimburse you for the amount of the appropriate incentive listed below. These programs have certain terms and conditions and are limited to available budgeted funds. Before you buy or renovate an existing home, call a Pensacola Energy marketing representative at 850-436-5050 and find out how you can save money.
The incentives listed below apply only to existing residences located on a Pensacola Energy distribution line.

Special Promotion – Replace + Reward Rebate Event
Water Heater Rebates: Rebates up to $1,200 available for a limited time.
Convert your old, inefficient water heater to a new energy saving gas model and save big with new bonus rebates.
Natural Gas Tankless Water Heaters
- $1,000 rebate + $200 bonus = $1,200 rebate for a tankless water heater when replacing an electric tank water heater.
- $750 rebate + $200 bonus = $950 rebate for a tankless water heater when replacing a natural gas tank water heater.
Natural Gas Tank Water Heaters
- $850 rebate + $200 bonus = $1,050 rebate for an efficient natural gas water heater when replacing an electric water heater.
- $350 + $200 bonus = $550 rebate for a newer, more efficient natural gas water heater when replacing a natural gas water heater.
These rebates are available for a limited time and apply only to existing homes. New natural gas appliances must be installed. A permit and final inspections are required prior to receiving any of these incentives.

Natural Gas Tankless Water Heaters
$1,000 incentive for a tankless water heater per home when replacing your electric water heater.
- $750 incentive for a tankless water heater per home when replacing your natural gas water heater.
- $200 incentive* when installing a solar water heating system with a tank or tankless natural gas back-up water heater. *Other water heating incentives do not apply.
Natural Gas Tank Water Heaters
- $850 incentive for an efficient natural gas water heater when replacing an electric water heater.
- $350 incentive for an efficient natural gas water heater when replacing a propane water heater.
- $350 incentive for a newer, more efficient natural gas water heater when replacing a natural gas water heater.
- $200 incentive* when installing a solar water heating system with a tank or tankless natural gas back-up water heater. *Other water heating incentives do not apply.
Natural Gas Heating Systems
- $800 incentive for an efficient natural gas heating system when replacing an electric heating system.
- $400 incentive for natural gas furnace central heating when upgrading an existing gas heating system or upgrading from natural gas space heating.

Miscellaneous Natural Gas Appliance Rebates
